Cosmetic Tattooing

Semi-Permanent makeup can change the size and shape of the lips by creating a fuller and sexier lip and adding colour to correct uneven imbalances. This procedure helps prevent lipstick bleeding, as well as restoring the natural pigment of your lip line- known as the “white line”, commonly lost through sun damage.

The Difference in Techniques

Pixel Lip Blush Tattoo enhances the natural lip with a light pixel technique to improve definition to create the illusion of fullness. The most natural look and great for those who are comfortable with their shape but want a subtle lip tint. Either matching your natural lip colour or dusting a soft colour of your choice.

Restructuring Full Lip Tattoo blends the pigment into the full lip so there’s no graduation of colour. Great for extreme asymmetrical lips and shrinking of the vermilion. We can considerably build the shape back to the lip to give more definition and symmetry. Most aged lips are fuller than what the client perceives, the vermillion has just faded into the dermis with age.

Lipstick Look is for clients that like wearing lipstick daily and want a more saturated colour on their lip. Make sure you bring in your lipstick to match.

Ombre Lip Tattooing is tattooing two different colours, a gradient effect. We can create this look by tattooing on the inside or outside and fade out.

Still able to wear any lipstick colour, the base of the tattoo will help it hold for several hours.

We have a massive range of pigments and match exactly to your natural lip or bring in your lippy. If you’re not 100% sure of the colour once it heals, it’s very easy to manipulate the colour at the perfecting session

How Long Does it Take?

The first appointmnet allow 1 hour and 45 minutes including the consultation. You will loose 70% of your colour from the first appointment as the skin over the lips reacts differently to the rest of the face. It is important at 6 weeks you have a touch up appointment allowing 1 hour and 30 minutes. The results can last from 12 to 18 months depending on your skin, lifestyle, and aftercare.

Benefits

A Cosmetic lip tattoo is a great option rather than fillers. While injectables build volume, it doesn’t address pigment loss and correct the lip shape. If done correctly, along with tattooing, it will look more natural. Therefore, we always recommend clients to first get tattooing done first.
